Hi everyone!  I am holding a "blog" sale (well, this is a journal site, but I'll just call it a blog sale because that's what all the cool people do!).  I am doing this mainly to rid my stash/collection of stuff I'm just not using anymore because either the color wasn't right for me, or I just didn't care much for the product.  This is all mainly lightly used (Most items just used 3-5x!), and I figure instead of tossing perfectly good makeup items, I can try to sell it to someone who wants to buy the item at a reduced price.  Used makeup can be sanitized using isopropyl alcohol (of 70% or higher, 90% will evaporate off the makeup faster), and it does not ruin the makeup.  This will kill 99.9% of the bacteria lurking in any makeup product. If you have ever had your makeup done at a makeup counter or store (MAC, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Sephora, etc) they have all put used makeup on your face that has been sanitized (at least I hope!)  The same goes for professional makeup artists that freelance for weddings, proms, and other big events - yes, you guessed it, they are using the same items repeatedly!  So, if used makeup grosses you out -- blog sales are definitely not for you! There are numerous articles on how to sanitize every makeup item on the internet.  Just as a disclaimer:  I am not responsible for any allergic reaction or skin condition that results from using these products.  Shipping starts at $3 for a small envelope and upwards depending on how much you buy.  This is limited to the U.S. only - sorry, I don't ship international!  The minimum purchase is $10.

Vapour Organic Beauty Elixir Gloss - Sultry 302 (Used 2X) (Retails for over $20 --- has a plush feel on lips, non-sticky.  This is a lesser known organic brand but they have really great beauty products -- unfortunately, I have so many glosses, so it's pointless to keep this in my collection)  $5

Dermstore Lip Quench (Moisture-Infused Lip Treatment) (I have 3 of these)  BRAND NEW!  $3

TheBalm Read My Lips Lipstick in Scoop and Smut (Both used 2-3x)  $5

Sephora Glossy Gloss Precious Pink 03 (Used 2x)  $2

Benefit Silky Finish Lipstick in Nice Knickers (Used 4x)  $7

Benefit Full Finish Lipstick in La La Land (Used 3x)  $7

Urban Decay Vintage Dagger Lipsticks (not sold anymore - discontinued - highly sought after !)  All $7

1) Midnight Cowboy (Used 4x)
2) Hotpants (Used 3x)
3) Apocalypse (Used 1x)

NYX Round lipsticks $2 :

1) Athena (Used 2x)

2) Pumpkin Pie (Used 3 x)

3) Tea Rose (Used 2x)

4) Milan (Used 2x)

Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy (swatched 1x)  $0.50

Stila Passion Fruit Crush Lip & Cheek Stain (Used 2x)  $4

Ellis Faas Milky Lips in L209 (used 3x)  $8

NYX Dark Brown eyeshadow (Used 2x) $1

L'oreal Wear infinite Pressed Eyeshadow Single in Sweet Chemise (swatched 1x) $2

J Cat Sparkling Cream Palette in Suzie (brand new - never opened) $2

Pop Beauty Eye Magnet Shade in Lavender Love (used 2x) $3

Touch In SOL Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Based (Korean Makeup primer) (used only 1x)  $7

Benefit Stay Don't Stray Eyeshadow Primer (Used 4-5x) $5

Benefit Hello! Flawless Custom Powder Cover up for Face in "Never Settle...Petal."  Product size is 0.25 oz

I used this about 7x, and there is a slight dip in the center.  This is slightly too dark / yellowish for me.  There is still PLENTY of product in here to try out a really great powder foundation.  It's super silky and smooth.  Unfortunately, most of benefit's foundations run really yellow it seems...   $7

PixiGlow Fairy Face Palette (Used 2-3x)  Orig. Price = $34.  Not sold anymore.  $10

Too Faced In Your Dreams Palette (Limited Edition, not sold anymore)  (Used 5x)  $10

Also, the packaging cover (which is really flimsy) is kind of lifting off the cardboard, so I have taped it in a few spots.  It doesn't really look beat up, just the flimsy papery cover is lifting.

Aquolina Pink Sugar Hair Perfume (can be used on body too!!!)  About 80-85% full.  This is missing the cap -- sorry.  $5

Benefit My place or yours Gina 0.34 Fl OZ  (About 1/3 of a normal small bottle of perfume) $5

Benefit See and Be Seen Sasha 0.34 Fl OZ ) (Used 3x)  $5

Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume Roll-On 0.33 FL OZ (Used 2x)  $8

Ever sprung a leak (women you know what I'm talking about!!) in the most inconvenient of locations?  Ever had that feeling like your tampon was falling out?  Ever become overwhelmed by the scent of your tampon?  Well Always / Tampax radiant collection is here to solve all your problems!!

I received a sample of the Radiant collection compliments of Influenster in their 2012 Summer Beauty Box!!  I receive no monetary compensation for my review, and this is 100% my honest-to-deity-of-your-choice opinion!  Thanks Influenster!!

I tested the tampon for 12 hours (yes I know 12 hours is gross but my flow is not that heavy), and I didn't get any leaks!!  The tampon was so easy to put in as well ... no struggling and no 'ouch' pain!!   It also didn't have a scent, so to all those sensitive to scents, you'll not have to worry! I also used the pad to protect against any leaks..and sure enough, my underwear was spot-free!! I highly recommend all you ladies check out their pads/tampons!!

Here are the links to Always / Tampax:

And as always, they both have Facebook pages and Twitter pages, like and follow them pease!!

This is a review for www.impressmanicure.com

I received a lovely lavender shade of press- on nail from the imPRESS brand.  The application time took only about 10 minutes.  They stayed on for about 3-4 days before they started falling off.  I really enjoyed getting to try this brand and I would encourage everyone to try it at least once =).  They make your nails look almost professionally done.
The imPRESS nail kits can be found in stores such as CVS, Rite-Aid, Walmart, etc and are about $6.99!

Note: I received this product compliments of the company to test and share my view.  I do not receive any monetary compensation for the review.  These reviews are my honest opinion !

I can't believe I pay for this torture called college.
There are not enough hours in the day for me to study and actually obtain knowledge on everything I am suppose to!
I've been sitting here since about 5pm, making note cards for my Human Physiology class (extreme MASS memorization, with a little bit of comprehension required).  We covered the nervous system, which is a MONSTROUS chapter in the book.  The nervous system is fascinating and so complex and learning it is sucking up whatever free time I have.  I thought my previous knowledge of the nervous system from Psychology would help me, but this stuff is just SO much more in-depth.
Of course, the exam is Monday, and I just started studying yesterday, and I never pay attention in class.
I am optimistic that I can achieve an A in this course, though.  It is five semester hours which is the most semester hours I've ever had for just one course.
I am not giving up on Biochem yet!  I got a 7/10 on the online quiz!  Much improvement over my 3/10 the last time!

I hate Biochem.
...so...much..memorization!  Reading one chapter in the book has made my head explode.

The structures of the 20 standard amino acids are fucking impossible to memorize..except for glycine which just has an H as a side chain!  That's the only one I will ever remember.

Exam Friday...doesn't look so good for me :-/

And what is the goddamn point of sketching out titration curves?!

I'd rather be back in Organic Chemistry doing SN1 and SN2 reactions...even NMR spectroscopy doesn't seem so bad now!

I give up on studying and would rather do something much more productive--like watching House!

Why must my location be so cruel to me?  LPD is touring the U.S. in the fall, and the nearest location to me is nearly five hours away!  Damn you Ohio, and your unappealing status to touring musicians!

Oh!  I have been reading Zecharia Sitchin's 12th Planet.  It is quite a good read for anyone interested in alternative history, science, religion and ancient civilizations.  Apparently there are a bunch of books in the series entitled the Earth Chronicles.  I am interested in reading every book in the series, if I can just find the time to finish the first one, ha!

Here is an online audio version of the book... which I tried to listen to, but I am not really into audio books as I prefer reading the actual text to hearing someone else speak it:

In the same vein, Michael Tsarion...he's great!
